About

The Journey Started Young.

01 / About

I am a 45 year old father and grandfather who grew up in Oklahoma. My interest in cars started with purchasing my first truck at 15 years of age and hot rodding it around my parents 5 acres.

When I was done, the truck had some burnt valves, an exhaust leak, a faint knock, and a cracked flywheel. My dad just told me if I didn't learn how to fix it I wouldn't have a truck to drive when my birthday came around. I wasn't a happy camper. He then continued to say, "but first you better get your butt out there and fix my field." So that's exactly what I did.

From there I started busting tires and doing small mechanic jobs and just slowly worked my way up. Today I've been working for myself for about 5 years as a mobile mechanic in the Spokane, Washington area.

Straight from James

"If I didn't learn how to fix it, I wouldn't have a truck to drive."

That lesson turned into a trade, and the trade turned into a business built on doing the work himself.

What Customers Say.

03.1 / Reviews

He showed up when he said he would, told me exactly what was wrong, and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. The truck has run right ever since.
Customer, Spokane WA
Having someone come out to the driveway saved me a tow and a day off work. Clean work, fair price, and he explained every part of it.
Truck Owner
He took on wiring on an old car that two other people would not touch. He stayed with it until every circuit worked the way it should.
Classic Car Collector
I keep calling him because he tells me the truth about what can wait and what cannot. That kind of honesty is hard to find.
